This is us, well, everyone minus myself. I was stuck at work, as usual, when they were out having fun. My lovely husband is a born and raised Canadian. I, on the other hand, grew up in the British Virgin Islands where there is island time, white beaches, and forever sunshine.
How we met is a story for another post, but I will say that it was a whirlwind romance starting with us meeting in 2003 in the B.V.I, getting married in 2004, and now 19 years later, living in Canada with out 6 beautiful girls.
When we moved here I thought to myself that a blog would be a perfect way to journal our new adventure, but managing a busy household of 8 left little time for much else. Now, 8 years after our move to Canada, I have decided to give it real go. We’ve had some challenges and major milestones, and we’ve learned a lot, so I’m hoping that by sharing our perspective on life and our journey we can help others with theirs.
